The Unhoneymooners Redesign

This redesign project is based around a book called The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. The original cover does not fit the aesthetic the genre of contemporary romance usually hold and I wanted to redesign something to fit the book and genre better.

This is the foundation design for the cover of the book.

The setting of the book is a trip to Hawaii and a common mention throughout is a green dress that’s color is somewhere between a green skittle and 7-Up.

So between that information the leis and Hawaiian shirts this I designed a new dust jacket.
